Do I really need one?
Need is a strong word. But the most common reason a compression sock stops working isn't wear - it's a stretched band, and the drum is what stretches it. If you're spending $39 a pair, twelve dollars to make them last twice as long is easy maths.
How many pairs fit?
Six to eight pairs comfortably. Don't cram it - the point is that the socks move around loosely inside the mesh instead of being wrapped around a zip.
Can I put it in the dryer?
You can, but don't put the socks in there. Heat is what kills elastic, and the bag doesn't change that. Hang them to dry.
Does it work for other things?
Anything small and easy to snag - underwear, bras, thin knits. It was sized for socks, which is why it's the size it is.
What's it made of?
